# Netisu Development Recap - July 2025

Hey everyone! Here's a look back at everything we got done in July. It was a huge month for us, with a lot of big changes happening behind the scenes to make everything run better, along with a ton of new features and fixes.

### Back-End and Web Improvements

We spent a lot of time on the core of the project this month. The biggest news is that we've now migrated to **Laravel's Sudo Infrastructure**, which is a huge upgrade for security and stability.

On top of that, we've also got some new features that you'll notice in your day-to-day use:

- The **Games API** has been improved, and we've added a **password reset** feature to improve account security.
- We've added a dedicated "market" account for all items.
- **API was improved** to make everything run more smoothly.
- Frontend optimisation was a big focus, and we now have a **redesigned promo codes page**.

- We've also added **comments on items** and the ability to **buy items using Stars** on-site.

### Client & Workshop Updates

A lot of our work in July was focused on making the game-creation side of things better.

- We've added **animations to avatars** in the client, making your character look more lively.
- The workshop now features a **real-time sky shader** with a full day/night cycle.

- The gizmos in the workshop have been fixed and made smoother.

- To help you get started, we've created a **test map** for everyone to explore and experiment with in the workshop.
